Welp, college life sucks so far.... Classes haven't started yet, so maybe that's part of it, but I'm wicked lonely.. I've been trying to keep myself busy by going out and doing things, but I miss my family... It's not the same not being at home... My roommate and I get along just fine, don't get me wrong! But I just really miss my family and my pets and my home.. I never realized how much of a homebody I was I guess! Luckily my sister is stealing me home for next weekend, so hopefully some visits back home on the weekends will help me..

Hey y'all. So after working at the funeral home, I realized something... I was so blinded and set on being a funeral director that I barely gave any thoughts to other career options. I was so dead set (heh, I made a pun) on being a mortician that I hadn't taken the time to realize that I had already started the job that was the one for me. The funeral home was a great experience and I feel so grateful that I had that opportunity! But towards the end of it, I just couldn't see myself doing it as a full career.
